MPEG2 Encoder comparison

This encoder shootout is now 3 years old: http://digitalcontentproducer.com/vi...oder_shootout/, results here: http://images.industryclick.com/file...VSsfeature.pdf

Does anyone know of a newer one?

MPEG-2 encoders matured long ago, so the review is probably still valid.

I can't enough good things about Canopus Procoder.

I use the Procoder Express inside of Edius and the finished DVDs look fantastic.

I have put over two hours of footage (one at a bitrate of 2900) on a disc and it looks like a one hour project.

Smooth motion, no artifacts and vibrant colors.
