Difference Between Clingwrap and iSkysoft

I understand that this is not a iSkysoft forum, but can anyone tell me the difference between an iSkysoft video conversion from .mts to .mov and a Clingwrap re-wrap?

Howdy - the iSkysoft app is strictly a transcoder - they'll take your video, decompress it, and then recompress it into a new file. ClipWrap, when running in "rewrap" mode, preserves the actual bits from your original file, it just rearranges everything so that QuickTime can understand. So, there's no generation loss, and it's much faster than transcoding.

ClipWrap also has a transcode mode, but we target production formats for output - prores, AIC, etc.
