That's right, just in time to spoil your summer fun, here comes The DV Challenge #6! To enter, all you have to do is sign up in this thread. It's FREEEEE, except of course for the potential shame of signing up and not submitting an entry! Please sign up posts only in this thread.

The contest begins with the announcement of the theme, and whatever else I may throw at you, THURSDAY AUGUST 3rd!
The contest closes, SUNDAY -MIDNIGHT PST- AUGUST13th when you must have emailed the links to your films to www.thedvchallenge.com

First off, I must come clean: I'm on the wall of shame from DVC#5. Yes, that's right: I signed up, and I didn't make a movie. Please forgive me Dylan.

But I am signing up for DVC#6, with a twist!

From August 5-12 I will be taking part in a Kino-Kabaret in Matane, Quebec. It's basically an intense film-making workshop with screenings every 48 hours, involving about 100 participants. My own personal challenge will be to make a movie for DVC#6 while I'm there! I am going to make at least two movies during that week anyway, so I might as well make sure one of them is for the DVC.

BTW: nice prizes!

I don't know what the shiny buttons on my camera do yet. If I were thinking rationally, I'd say "wait for DVC 7 before deciding to make a fool of yourself, yeah?" On the other hand, I'm often chastised for procrastinating.

Ok, I am in. I have been on the WOS since I didn't manage to complete the last DVC-contest I was in and now I think I need to get my honour back.
