Welcome to DVinfo!

The handles are based on post count. As you contribute to this online community over time with sage advice, the account will be tagged with new handles based on the growing post count. It really isn't important, just a little fun thing.

We do ask folks not to jack up their post counts with useless posts just for the sake a having the next handle. Useless posts tend to get deleted by moderators anyway, in keeping with the "high signal, low noise" philosophy of DVinfo.

I think after 25 posts you become 'Regular Crew' then after 250 (or maybe it was 200 or 300, can't remember) it becomes 'Major Player'....after that I can't remember/it's not important anyway but the main thing is to spend time filming and learning not just posting!

Most queries have already been answered so the search functions on here are well worth learning (the search tools are very easy to use).

I've spent dozens of very nice business trips in your country in the past - I sure miss the sunshine right now! Good luck and welcome!

This is in the 'Controls' section (top left in one of the 'blue bars' that go across the page). Look around in there and you should be able to set it up with ease in the drop down list options (assuming you have these rights when still a "newbie").

By the way, as most of us know (and Chris does send out the odd reminder), the Gallery does not seem to work anymore/is unlikely to get fixed - just so you know that too!
