23.976 Progressive vs 60i? for DVD Authoring

I see in Sony's DVD Architect the choice of making 23.976 progressive or 60i DVD's.

What are the reason to use one over the other when encoding a standard definition DVD?

Use whatever setting matches your source footage. Selecting 24p on 60i footage could create some ugly pulldown issues.
