Not until Blu-Ray or HD DVD become available.

Shane is correct, but, if you have an Apple system with DVD Studio Pro 4 you can burn an HD DVD on standard DVD media that will play on the Mac. It will only play on a G5 with OS 10.4 and QT 7 though. It uses the H.264 codec to do this.

Early to mid 2006. I would think by the second quarter.

What about a PC with QuickTime 7? Couldn't it play the H.264 HD DVD, so long as it has enough processing power?

I just write the M2T or WM9 file to a Data DVD and play it on my AVeL Linkplayer2 from I-O-Data
