Direct show from camera on laptop

Guys, please... Give me tips and links to software, which can show direct image from camera on your laptop in full resolution...

Like DV rack and Virtual dub does... Give me more options, please...

If you have a Canon XL2, then Canon offers a free piece of software called DV-PC which will show the image on the computer and let you record direct to disk. You have to join the Canon XL Users Club and sign up with your camera serial number.

Download DV-PC here:

Right-click the download link on that page and hit save as...

the file you download is labeled 'b' but just rename it to 'b.exe' and it turns into the DV-PC installer.

Apparently the DV-PC software is available to everybody in Australia. lol.

There's also a cheap software version of "DV Capture" available at Download.com. I strongly advise you not to search for a serial number for that software on mscracks.com being it is against the law.

Finally, RedRockMicro is producing a version of DV capture software that natively flips the image 180 degrees for those who use a 35mm adapter (see the "Alternative Imaging" forum here) which you can check out here:
