PlayDV? Good or bad? Your opinion?
Just looking for someone with direct experience trying to get River Past PlayDV to work into a DTD solution. I've played with it, the test footage was fine...
Please let me know if it worked for you. Or did it fail myserably for you? Granted, it doesn't have all the features of DVRack, but then again.. its only $19 bucks. Responses? Last edited by Joseph B Smith; May 21st, 2006 at 08:12 PM. |

Are you confusing iRiver with "River Past"? And isn't PlayDV just camera control/playback software (perhaps I'm missing something here...)?

It is camera control software, but you can also record a realtime stream to the HD... a handy feature if you want to record to laptop instead of tape (or in addition to tape). Have a look, John.. play with it, let me know what you think. J |
