CD Won't Eject Until FCPX is Closed
Running FCPX 10.0.7 on Lion 10.7, iMac i5. CD discs will not eject until I close FCPX, with an error that the app is still using the media. Background processes are idle. The media is being copied to the event, not linked. This is with the keyboard eject key or software command. The "in use by FCPX" error pops up every time. Closing FCPX allows the disc to eject.
I've posted on the Apple support site to see if this is a known issue and if there is a work around. One respondent says it is known behavior with connected drives and media. Not a show stopper as I only have to do this 40 or so times.

Re: CD Won't Eject Until FCPX is Closed
This is not a problem I have encountered but if you import items directly from a drive, FCPX grabs the media if it registers it as a drive. SD cards don't have this problem. I usually transfer everything from a CD that I need to a hard drive before importing.
