Note to users of Noise Industries FX Factory

Yesterday, I installed the latest version of FX Factory Pro (FCP 7 and FCPX) and then went to work on a project I started a couple of weeks ago. I was surprised to find some of my installed transition plug-ins not working. They were showing up in the inspector but not working.

I contacted the plug in vendor (SugarFX) and Gabe responded immediately. He informed me that Apple changed some security protocols in OSX that caused the plugins to 'disappear' for lack of a better description, when the FX Factory update was applied

Had to reinstall the plugin and all was fine.

Just a heads up in case anyone else finds themselves in the same situation.
