Focus in Theatres - edited on X.
If you're interested in what FCP X is capable of on the high end, go take a look at the new Will Smith movie Focus out this week.
Edited entirely in FCP X. (Spoiler: it looks EXACTLY like any other major Hollywood movie, including Gone Girl which was edited in Premier) And like most well made movies, it's a bit difficult to watch it while exclusively trying to judge whether anything is editorially unusual because the dang story keeps getting in the way. Go figure.

Great to hear this. I am sure soon we will see other major hollywood films cut on FCP X.
I am hoping that they improve the audio part in FCPX. |
