How to getMPEG2 Muxed clip keeps crashing FCP at DVinfo.net

AN MPEG2 Muxed clip keeps crashing FCP. So, I've tried exporting from QT the MPEG2 Muxed file but FCP won't accept it. How can I get a file that works in FCP?

FCP does not work with mpeg 2. It has to be de-muxed and transcoded before FCP will work with it.

Do an internet search for MPEG Streamclip. A great program and it's freeware.
