Editing HDV on USB 2.0 Drives..?

How many people are editing HDV with the files on an external USB 2.0 Drive? I've always used external SATA or firewire and want to know if this works before I buy a couple USB 2.0 drives....

Thanks,
Scott

My external drives can be SATA-II or USB 2.0
SataII is much faster, but, the USB2 connection works fine.

I've had people on other boards say that USB 2.0 can handle only one stream of HDV...

Personally, I wouldn't work with HDV on USB 2. Yes, I know people use it successfully but really, its speed (which is delivered in packets or bursts not continuously like FW) is not technically sufficiant for video. I wouldn't even work with SD DV on USB. I've tried and it was not reliable

For HDV I prefer FW8 or eSATA
