Color cursor turns to red X and timeline freezes

Has anyone seen this problem with Color? I'm using version 1.0.2. Sometimes, I have no idea what causes it, the cursor turns to what looks like a couple reels of tape with a red X on them, and I am unable to do anything with the timeline. In order to fix it I have to quit Color and open it again. By the look of the cursor I thought it might be an offline media problem but nothing in my Color project has gone offline. Anyone? I think you accidentally hit a button and changed the tool you currently had selected, there are different timeline tools, just like FCP, I believe.... unfortunately, I don't remember exactly how to change back, but I believe there is a pulldown menu at the top of the screen. C

Hey, look at that! I must have hit Ctrl+Z by mistake to get the Splice Tool. Boy do I feel like to a goofball... I completely forgot about Color's editing tools. Thanks. :) |
