livetype rendering pixelated
trying to render an animation of writing out text (hand-writing look, fairly think, big, red letters) with a transparency background to layer onto a fcp sequence. With livetype all rendering options still seem to produce a look that will not work well with HDV.
Also considered slowly erasing the text w/ photoshop and saving a truck-load of targas... but this might take all night unless theres a more streamlined method. Is there any other program that I can render a text sequence like this out in high resolution? thanks! |

I've had similar issues in the past and have moved onto Motion for most text sequence... depending on complexity.
However in livetype (and the same applies to motion) be sure that the frame sizes are the same and codec as the finished render. It seems most issues for me were due to re-scaling at some point. Also, when finishing out from livetype, after the sequence has been rendered use the export function and use the QT movie option. Mark |
