Final Cut playback problem
I'm having a weird playback problem with FCP 6.03 on a macbook pro. When I playback using digital cinema desktop preview main on the laptop screen or full screen on an external lcd monitor or through firewire I keep getting the same problem. It plays only a still image and the audio. I have it set to play all frames but its playing back like its stuck on "Single Frames".
I've tried different project and sequences, hdv and ntsc. I tried trashing the personal prefrences and restarting. I can't figure this out. Has anyone had this happen or can suggest something to try ? Thanks Dave |

Hey Dave, just curious how full your hard drive is and also how its connected (firewire 400, 800 or USB) Just trying to eliminate the possibility of hard drive performance.
