Music Audio Level in FCP6 for DVD Output

I am editing over an hour dance recital footage in FCP6 using combination of the original cd music tracks and audience clapping.

The audio levels of the music range from high to low, I am setting the audio level of the tracks between -3dB and -6dB (for the low and high).

I am wondering, from experience, what would be the ideal audio level setting for the individual tracks and master? My intended output is to put it on DVD.

Thanks for any help.
