arrrrrgghhh..wmf makie me crazy
greetings,
please help me before my head explodes. for some reason when I try to create a windows media file from fcp it only creates a 10 sec clip despite the fact that the in and out points are set at the head and tail of the show. I always work with qt with no problems, nothing with wm so my experience is limited. Any help would be great. Thanks James |

I presume your computer has Flip4Mac - the 10 second limitation is normally related to having the demo version of Flip4Mac - not the full version.
If you are viewing your WMVs in QT and can export the full file, it might be that you have the full version, but some upgrade to FCP or QT has broken it working within FCP. Or it might be a limitation of the version of Flip4Mac WMV you have (it has multiple licenses that limit you to doing certain things) My Suggestion would be to check for recent Flip4Mac updates (and also ensure you do actually have a fully registered version that can do what you want it to) |

You can also encode WMV with ffmpegX ($15 shareware) or DV Kitchen.
