Import/Export Settings for iStabilize

I'm using Final Cut Express 4; and since I don't have SmoothCam like some of you FCP guys, I'm trying out a program called iStabilize. What are the best settings (codecs, rates, etc.) for shuttling video files back and forth between Mac programs? My original footage was shot in HDV 1080i.

I tried shuttling files using Quicktime's "none" compression setting. It created a 5GB file for a 20 sec clip. iStabilize did a great job on the clip, but it played back jerky in FCE. Surprisingly, the same clip played back perfectly in iMovie HD. How's that?
