Need help from FCP/FCS owner

Hello all,

I need help from a FCP/FCS owner. I need a short clip encoded in ProRes HQ. 5 seconds would be more than enough. You can FTP it to my ftp server.

Any takers?

Got clip, returned same; the preores422 and 422hq both test fine on my quicktime. If they don't work on your NLE it will probably be a codec thing.../Battle Vaughan

Thank you!

It's the codec thing I am testing...

For grins I took the clips home and tried them in premiere cs4, to my surprise they worked fine (did require rendering, of course). Since I don't see ProRes among the codecs (maybe I'm missing something) I'm curious to find out how Premiere sees the video within the Quicktime wrapper....B. Vaughan

I'm not sure how Apple is sneaking it in there with Quicktime, but it's working.
