New HD project-SL and FCP7 from Tiger and FCP6? at DVinfo.net

Okay I know there is a bunch out there on this topic but everyone is a bit different-
I am running FCP6.0.6 with Tiger-mainly because I just finished a project and didn't want to upgrade in the middle of it.
System specs:
Model Name: Mac Pro
Model Identifier: MacPro2,1
Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Processor Speed: 3 GHz
Number Of Processors: 2
Total Number Of Cores: 8
L2 Cache (per processor): 8 MB
Memory: 16 GB

New project is already logged and captured but not edited yet--I am wondering should I upgrade everything now or be content with what I know works??

Any opinions?
