Problems With Capturing XL2

Does anyone know what settings are needed to capture Xl2 footage to Final Cut Pro HD? Every time I try it gives me a dropped frames error. Please advise.

Thanks,

Jeffrey

There are a ton of discussions about capturing with the XL2. One
of the things you are not saying is which settings you are using.

I did a search (button in the upper right corner) on XL2 restricting
the search to just this forum and found the following threads
(on just the first page) which I suggest you read:

http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...threadid=39166
http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...threadid=36600 (also dropped frames)
http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...threadid=36966
http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...threadid=35892

If this doesn't help you out, please supply some more information
like:

1. settings in FCP

2. does it just happen at 24p for example, or also at 30p/60i?

3. capturing to internal or external drive?

etc.
