Help with MPEG2 720P workflow

Hi,
I have an one hour program which I have to deliver as MPEG-2 720P (sound embedded).
No matter what I do after minute 24 the image freezes. I tried exporting direct from timeline using compressor's MPEG-2 Program stream setting, the length of the final video is one hour but after minute 24 the image remains in still and the sound muted.
I exported the program in ProRes and after I imported the prores in compressor with the same MPEG-2 Program stream setting, same result.
Anyone encountered the same issue?
Any advice is welcome.
A happy new year!,

I had an issue once like that... it was a HDV original captured via tape, and there was a bad frame at the spot that it kept crashing at. Probably due to imperfections in the tape etc.. sort of like a drop out, but the GOP codec was scrambled because of it. So I went into my timeline and scrubbed frame by frame around the spot that it keep freezing at.. I found the messed up frame. normal image, but there was a few spots of green computerized blocking (not macroblocking). I deleted those frames, re-rendered my project, then I could ouput via compressor with no issues. the 1 or 2 frames didn't make a difference for the final video. You might want to try just rendering that small section where it crashes so you can narrow down the issue. But at least give that idea a try.

Thank you very much Alex.
My footage is also originated in HDV, but I didn't capture a tape I have used the HM 700 witch captures on card. I'll look closely on that portion hoping that I'll find something suspect.
Thanks again for the fast answer.
Happy new year!
