compression issue

Hi,

I've been having trouble getting good results from Compressor in certain situations. Specifically, cross dissolves in the video come out extremely pixelated. This happens whether I export straight to Compressor from Final Cut 5, or make a QuickTime movie first. The strange thing is that I get better-looking results by using the one pass, fastest encode setting than with the high quality setting.

Anyone know why that would be and how to fix it?

Thanks,

Jeff

You either need to add compression markers in FCP or check your setting for motion detecting in compressor.
