WOW do I feel like a jerk for asking but.....
Is mini-dv footage (NTSC) RGB or YUV? I've been using FCPHD4.5 for quite some time and just checked the video processing tab under settings and discovered that there are options other than rendering in RGB. I thought that NTSC mini dv footage was to be rendered in RGB but now I'm confused. I'll be moving soon and have the manual packed away. I feel like an idiot for asking this question. Would someone help me?
sincerely, doug

Argh! That Wikipedia article is not too good.
http://www.nattress.com/Chroma_Inves...masampling.htm Gives a lot better information on chroma sampling with respect to DV. Graeme
