Casablanca vs Apple based editing at DVinfo.net

I curently have a Casablance Avio but am considering a switch to an Apple based video editing system. Has any one made a similar switch? What is your opinion of this move?

Second question. Where do I find a 3rd party products for video editing on the Apple?
