Scratch disk settings

If I plan to edit a project in different computers using Final Cut Studio 3, should the Waveform Cache Files, Thumbnail Cache Files and Autosave Vault be included in the same external hard drive were all the media files are going to be capture?

That's what I usually do, but others may have a better solution.
