AVCHD, Log & transfer & Mountain Lion 10.8

So we upgraded all our machines to 10.8 along with a server upgrade & I just tried using Log & Transfer (L&T) in FCP7 for some AVCHD footage.

I noticed that Mountain Lion (ML) views the AVCHD folder structure as a "package" instead of folders. In Finder I can open the packages & view all the contents, but not in L&T.

Since L&T needs to have the folder structure in perfect, L&T won't open any of the footage for transcoding.

Anyone know if there is a fix for this? I googled this & the only solutions I've found are third party apps (ClipWrap for one).
