Monitoring DVX on powerbook question

I use a latest generation powerbook for monitoring. Any miss-givings to that?
It is terrible for stabilizer shots. But is using a powerbook recommended??

Hi Kumar. I moved your post to the Mac forum since I think you're more likely to get helpful responses there. Are you using BTV Pro?

If not then have a look. It works very well and you can configure it for widescreen and full screen views. The colorspace is not going to really be right however, and it isn't full resolution, so not a replacement for a real monitor. But it can be very useful nonetheless and can also record to the hard drive and display various "scopes."
