Rendering issues

Another problem here,

Does anyone know what would cause a sequence in final cut pro not to render? I have no problem rendering, ever--it's just this one sequence. I've tried nesting it, copying and pasting to another sequence, but nothing seems to work.

When I go to render it, it doesn't do anything. It NEEDS to be rendered, I know that much. I have text and fades that are showing up as "unrendered". I don't know what is up. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Matthew I'm having a similar problem. I hope you don't mind me jumping on to your post here.

I've tried trashing preferences, changing sequence and RT settings, and rendering every kind of way. And I've tried printing to video and get a codec problem.

I had this problem once before and can't remember how I resolved it. Oddly, there's been an improvement in the last hour: I renders to 16 percent before it quits; an hour ago it was only nine.
