Final Cut Pro 4.5 quitting problem
Ive been having a few mac tech problems recently but always my final cut pro has been top notch, now however its started crashing.
When using anamorphic footage I cant edit in real time. I need to render everything on the timeline. I was advised to go to sequence, then settings, and change them. (even though id never touched them in the forst place and they've always worked previously) Sadly I cant get that far, when i hit settings it quits. Can anyone suggest what may be causing the crashes? The box that pops up says that osx isnt affected but that the aplication FCP quit unexpectedly. I've only recently moved to macs so dont have the knowledge to fix this on my own. Please help if you can!cheers |

Shane's Stock Tip Mantra: If the program was working fine, and now isn't, or just isn't working the way it should, the first things to do are:
1) Trash your FCP preferences. Download the appropriate version of FCP Rescue at http://www.pistolerapost2.com/fcprescue and run it. 2) Open the Disk Utility and Repair Permissions. 3) (optional) Do the Hokey Pokey and turn your self about. Results may vary. Shane |
