So do the intel mac's edit HD well or not?
Seems like there's been time now for people to get their hands on FCP universal-anyone know how well the new macs edit HD?

haven't edited HD on one - but it really *flies* on SD [imac dual]

using HDV720p30 and FCP 5.1, the new MacBook Pro is outpacing my dual 2.5 G5. got to love it! can't wait to see what a quad core Mac-intel tower will do.

Yes
I saw a demo of the 17 inch display at the nab and the demo did edit very well and they were editing 24p with the gy-hd 100ua connected via fire wire I was very impressed so impressed I just may buy one this week with the intel chip that thing is blazzing fast for a not book.
