Exporting to QT takes longer in version 5?
Has anyone had the same experience, I started with FCP version 3 and 4 and every time I export my movies to QT it will not take me more than 30 minutes to export a 60 minutes movie.
Now in version 5 it takes like an hour and half for a 60 minutes movie...anyone? |

are you sure you're not doing quicktime conversion which will have to render a different codec, also you can exort reference movies which will take less time than a self-contained, as long as you keep the original media files on your hard drive.

It is a reference movie...lately i've been working on 16.9 and I am thinking that the slow export has something to do with it...just a guess!
