Duel delivery
Our main projects go to a website but we want to mail clients out dvd's of the work. When editing for the web, i disregard the rules of tv safe and title safe but should I edit once for TV and put that on the web? We play our movies in Flash and tend to put titles bars on the edge of the screen along with our logo. Obvisouly, we can't do that on TV. Do I do 2 cuts for different delivery types or edit for TV and realease it on the web.

Unless your clients have objections, go ahead and edit for DVD. I find that action safe margins are good enough even for titles unless viewed on some ancient analog TV set - the overscan percentage used to be 10% on analog sets but now with better digital contol has come down to 5%. I even see some new sets coming out with overscan at 3% (I work with bigscreen TVs).
