				Tourism video — UAV?

Check out this 1:17 golf course promo video. What do you think -- 100% UAV on the aerials? At first I was thinking helicopter, but how do you get close-in aerial shots with no rotor wash? The flags are completely still and the tree branches aren't moving. On a few it could be a jib or steadicam, but maybe those could be UAV too? Example - the shot of the couple walking to the green at 0:44. |

I personally think all those bigger motion shots are all a UAV. It also makes a lot more sense to me to use a UAV than it it does to a helicopter for a job like this. You can't really get up close with a fullsize helicopter, whilst you can with a small UAV. And you're right - a helicopter would leave 'traces', there's no rotor-wind, nor shadows (helicopters are big, and shadows most of the time unavoidable). |

Good point Ruben, I forgot about shadows! I'm going to try to find out who shot the footage.
