Sony V1U and FS-4ProHD corrupt files
I have 5 brand new FS-4ProHD units and 4 brand new V1U cameras. I have been unable to do one complete shoot without at least one corrupt file. Focus has been helpfull in trying to diagnose the problem, but I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with this camera combo and could offer suggestions.
Cameras V1U - 1080i60 FS-4ProHD - Quicktime - Syncro Slave mode - 60Gig Latest firmware There is no pattern to the corruption. Many of these shoots have been static stick shots without even stopping the camera, just recording straight for 45 minutes, and one of the files is always jacked. This really sucks on multicam shoots doing multiclip edits. We are having to go back to a lot of tape. |
