FS-NIB from ebay are not covered under warranty

I bought this NIB from ebay with warranty and having problems called Focus and they sent me this email...
Dear Steven,
Your product registration states that you purchased your FS-4 HD from ebay- units purchased from ebay are not covered under warranty. I would suggest contacting the person that sold it to you because the unit was defective out of the box. There is a $245.00 flat repair fee for the FS-4 HD payable by check or by credit card if they will not take the unit back. Let me know how you would like to proceed.

This Sucks concidering I make $310 weekly from my job trying to make a movie...

This is an excellent example of why gray market product from Ebay should be avoided. Always make your purchases from authorized dealers such as our trusted site sponsors, as they are much more reliable and ultimately much less expensive.

Everything I buy is from ebay!

If I could ever efford it I would buy from the dealer!
I work harder than the average person labor based. So I cant afford the $900 for the same item vrs $435 Unopend box and states with Warranty!
I think Focus will do something because it is unopened not used by any means...

So, If you can afford it BUY FROM A DEALER/SPONSOR <hook

So if it costs 900 from a dealer and you paid 435+245 for repair, you still come out ahead of the 900 dollar price tag.

It is my only choice with my low income and a dream to make this happen..

For equipment like this you need to talk with the seller upfront.
And ask him to send a photo or video specifically to show th unit work 100%.
I even drive to the seller to see the unit before I pay.
