FS-CV with Canon XL1 and FCP HD? at DVinfo.net

Hi,

Just wanted to know if the FS-CV is compatible with my XL1 (yes, XL1, not XL2 or XLH1) and with Final Cut Pro HD. I am looking to get a portable DTE Recorder for my camera, which is still in excellent condition. If the FS-CV will not work with either my camera or my NLE, are there any alternatives or am I just out of luck? Thank you in advance!

Well, Canon says the FS-CV will work with the XL1, but does anyone know or have experience with getting footage of off their DTE into Final Cut Pro HD? Someone has to have done this at some point! Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
