Can I capture and encode .wmv file at the same time?

I would like to be able to broadcast a sports game over the internet and capture to my fs4 at the same time, is this possible? My one work around I had for now was to capture to the fs4 with a firewire cable and run the video over s video cable into another camera and take that firewire for the wmv broadcast. I was hoping to just be able to pass through the firewire signal from the fs4 to my laptop.

In theory a FireWire hub should do the trick. Input = camera, Output 1 is FireWire drive, Output 2 is computer
