According to the article, it will be "the world’s first video acquisition product developed for Final Cut post production".

Also "JVC’s Craig Yanagi, National Marketing Manager for Creation Products will unveil the revolutionary product, making this FCPUG SuperMeet a truly historic event."

Hmmm ... are they making a camera that records ProRes 422HQ or something? Or a Solid-State HD-SDI recorder that transcode the RAW signal to ProRes? That would be pretty killer ...
