Hello,

I'm a Frontman in a Rock n Roll Band. We have about 50 shows this year and I want to video them.

The material would be for promotion, DVD, web etc.

I've been looking at the Sony FX1 as a possible buy! however I would be happy with SD or HDV. I just want something that will get a great quality picture.

We would be using the available lighting in the venues, plus some of our own.

Any recomendations on any format would be welcome.

rent an fx1 and shoot one of their shows. the fx1 will really look great if they start doing shows where you can show footage on a big screen while they are playing.
