Re: Which Run & Gun HD Camera?

Weeeeelllll . . .

It was a great night, anticipating the arrival of the XF105. I ordered that model because Adorama showed it to be in stock, but the XF100 was out of stock.

This morning's email brings the news that the 105 is out of stock, and they don't know when they will have one.

So, I canceled the order, plus the cards, batteries, filter, etc.

Sigh. Anyone know where I can order an XF100?

Did you try AbelCine. (they're a sponsor here). No guarantee they have it and frankly with the trouble Japan had back a while product might be slow in arriving from there. If B&H and Adorama don't have it then it's possible no one does but I'd at least look at AbleCine

Re: Which Run & Gun HD Camera?

Thanks, Don. I struck out at Able Cine, too.

Still on the hunt.

There are XF105's available. I decided not to spend the extra grand for features I won't need. That'll buy the cards, batteries and WA adaptor I want (well, almost).

Sounds like you might be looking for an XF100 instead. Besides the site that Sareesh suggested for the XF100. I think Tapeworks Texas (another DVinfo sponsor) may have some in stock. I've purchased equipment form them and found them reliable and with good service.

Thanks, Jay. I talked with Tapeworks Texas. They don't have any XF100s. They do have a 105.
