Canon W/A Converter v Century W/A converter??

I have the Canon WD H72 .8x wide angle conversion lens. It came with a lens shade. I just acquired a Century Pro Series HD compact .8x wide angle conversion lens. Century advertises full zoom through, something the Canon seems to do. But I do notice this Century is significantly smaller and lighter than the Canon even though both are 72mm thread size.

I know some of the other strength Centuries lack zoom through, but this one is not one of them.

Has anyone compared the the Canon versus the Centry or has any experience with the .8 Century, good or bad?
