Is there a solution to capture video and automate the uploads to a site? at DVinfo.net

Got presented with a tricky challenge: need people to be able to capture HD footage, bursts of a few minutes at a time, total probably 20 minutes per location. They then need to upload it to a site for access by others back at head office. Non-technical users will be shooting and uploading and possibly over slowish connections.
I started thinking maybe something likebthe eye.fi cards would be easier (Eye-Fi wireless memory card comparison chart | Eye-Fi ) and that would allow them to use something like an exacti or similar (or they could use different cameras as te card does the heavy lifting for them).

Any thoughts, suggestions?
