Need Advice on VCR choice

I have waited almost a year for a VCR that would support all the frame mode of Canon XLH1, but there seems to be none. Finally I have decided to buy Sony HVRM25U, should I regret anything? My work flow is mainly in DV, DVCAM, HDV

The VCR that supports Frame mode playback is the Canon HV10. Some people call it a camcorder because it has a lens and a microphone, but it really is your Frame-mode capable VCR playback deck. We have an entire forum dedicated to it: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/forumdisplay.php?f=139
