1. How are you recording sound to the DSLR's ?

iriver microphones are close-mic'd to the groom, pastor, lectern and house mic at the ceremony. At the reception an iriver with a stub mic is gaffer taped to the toast mic and a Tascam DR-07 records the band/dj audio

I use buy out music for some of my edits and popular music for others. Editors on the list can choose to use whatever they like.

Hi Warren,

The editing is an agreement between the couple and the editor, so those stipulations would have to be spelled out beforehand.

Ditto to the first answer.

That can be handled however the editor would like. The couple owns the footage with no restriction, so I suppose it depends on the wording of the agreement between the couple and the editor whether or not it can be used as a sample by the editor. I personally wouldn't mind - in fact I'd funnel more work to an editor that had worked with my footage and edited a final piece that the couple could view.

Again - see the answer to question 1. As for the way I shoot - I'd be willing to send an editor that is serious about being on the list a wedding on a drive to look through so they'd know how to charge for the edit. I shoot all weddings to the same degree, so they'd all be similar in terms of the amount, quality, style and the need for color correction, noise reduction and/or stabilization.

Seeking Shooter and Sound for 3 day shoot - week of 8/20/12

Seeking crew for a three (3) day industrial shoot in the Chicago area during the week of August 20th. Specific dates will be set soon. Here's who we need:

-2nd Cam (B-cam) DSLR owner/operator (APS-C sensor preferred - Canon required) with zoom lenses (f/4 or faster). Documentary experience a must (must be exhibited on your reel).

-Sound mixer with gear; boom, 2 wireless lavs, mixer and a multi-track recorder

-Local lighting and tripod hire. 2x Kino Diva 400 or similar (equivalent models in non Kino Flo brands will be fine). Fluid head tripod capable of supporting a medium DSLR kit (no rails but lenses on the heavier side). If one of the above crew members have any of this available, we'd prefer to rent directly from you than go through a separate party.

Please send rates and reels to dave@kineticfin.com

Thanks.

Google earth pro video for me

I recently went on a missions trip to Zacapa, Guatemala. I'm putting together a video and would like to start it out with the Google animation video from the globe to Zacapa.

The trial version does not offer that, as far as I can tell, and I don't need the $400.00 version.

Can anyone record that for me in the highest definiton possible, and charge me what you think it's worth through Paypal, etc.

Re: Google earth pro video for me

I'm not acquainted with functionality or quality of Google animation, but if you wanted just a basic google earth zoom in, you might consider a video capture program like snapz pro for the mac which would capture the screen animation of the initial zoom.
