Re: Sony z1

I have 2 on Oahu, you'll probably need to land on Oahu first before going to Maui. When's the gig happening?

Re: Sony z1

There's a place called "Lighthaus Camera," may find additional information or locations through a well-placed internet search

Re: Sony z1

Thanks, Warren and Kevin.
It always amazes me how quickly the DV Info network of people are quick to help.
Warren, I'm already in Maui and unable to get Oahu. I is a small shoot and I may be able to make it through the last interview with what little battery I have left.
Kevin, I'm going to check out Lighthouse Camera as soon as they open.

Mickey

Oops, I didn't realize you were already on Maui and needed it yesterday. Another possibility is this Craigslist ad, he's selling the camera/batts/charger and could let you loan/rent it. I'm quite sure batts for the 2100 and Z1 are the same.

Salt Lake City Tripod needed next week

Is there a camera rental place in Salt Lake City that has tripods for rent? I need to borrow or rent a tripod for my XHA1. I'm not getting paid for this gig, so as cheaply as possible. The date of the event is 10/11/12. I'm flying in Tuesday the 9th.

Mesg me through the board if you know of a place, or have a tripod available.

Thanks!

Why not just ship yours to friends there.

Re: Salt Lake City Tripod needed next week

The problem is, even though his wedding is in Utah, he has been moved by his company back to Oregon. It's also going to be spendy to ship a big libec two ways.

I tried looking for rental houses in the yellow pages, but kept coming up empty.

Full-time Motion graphics specialist needed..Cinema 4D, AE

Hi everyone!
Have run across a job opening I am not qualified for and thought I'd put it out there.
Essentially the company that contacted me needs a senior level motion graphics artist. This is a full time gig with salary. They are looking for full-on 3D compositing and the absolute highest level users of AE and beyond. Cinema 4D and AE were listed in the requirements but an example they showed was done in Flame and Nuke.
If you fit this level of motion graphics artist send me a link to your reel and your contact info and ill forward it to my contact.
Time is of the essence and they are looking to hire soon!

I would let you use one of mine, but they are all booked on the 11th, 12th and 13th.
REDMAN (Home | Redman Movies and Stories) rents tripods locally.

Looking for SEO expert

Hi,
I'm in the South Florida area and am looking for someone to do ongoing SEO work on my web page. I've been through a couple of bs artists, and would like to know if anyone on the forum has had any positive experience with someone, and could reccomend them. I don't care where they are as long as they're honest and competent.
Thanks

Paul, it was my pleasure to be a part of such a great humanitarian cause! DVinfo was credited in the video as well.
Hope to cross paths with you again.

Cheers!

I can make a great, low cost video for you

I am in the Los Angeles and Fresno areas. I specialize in commercials, but I will consider any kind of video. I would especially like to do more work for non-profit organizations. I shot, edit, and add graphics to the videos myself, so I am able to keep my rates low.

Go ahead and take a look at some videos I made:

2nd shooter and sound in Macon, GA

Seeking crew members for a 2-day interview-based video shoot in Macon, GA 11/13-11/14/2012

1 HDSLR owner/operator to shoot 2nd for me. Canon DSLR a must, APS-C sensor preferred (though full-frame owners will not be ignored outright). Zooms are a must, with an available range of at least 24-100mm (not necessarily one lens) and aperture of f/4 or wider.

1 sound mixer with equipment. We're shooting double system, so disk-based stereo recorder is a must (though timecode is not necessary). I'm comfortable with candidates suggesting specific packages, though, for reference, all the work so far has been recorded with lav and boom to separate channels.

Also seeking to hire some gear locally - 2x Kino Diva 400 (or similar) with stands, and 1x fluid head tripod. We would LOVE it if one of the 2 crew members we're seeking could provide this service as well.

Please send rates, resumes, and reels to dave@kineticfin.com
