Exporting EXCAM to Prem Pro from FCP
Hi,
I have shot some footage on the EX-1 and have it in FCP, no probs, however I have to export it so it can be cut in PP3. I have tried to send it out as an uncompressed Quicktime, and PP can't open it, and the AVI Best quality appears to be soft. Does anyone know the best way to export a clip in a lossless format from FCP to PP3? Thanks Luke |

and Vegas 7!
Without wishing to hijack this thread.... I'm also interested in this workflow except we need XDCAM PMW-EX1 clips captured via the Sony clip extraction software onto a Macbook in FCP and also want to work on them in Vegas 7e on a PC.
We don't (actually can't) capture directly from SXS cards to the PC as the PC does not have the necessary reader. So far we're not having much luck with trying to transfer various video file types from the Macbook's hard drive to the PC (using external USB devices) so any pointers would be very helpful!
