upgrading of video card speeds MPEG compression

I currently edit HDV using Premiere Pro 1.5 with the Mainconcept MpegPro plugin. Using my All-In-Wonder Radeon 8500, it took PP w/MainConcept 12:45 seconds to convert the .m2t file to a DVD-ready, 16x9 MPEG2 format. When I upgraded my video card to an All-In-Wonder 9800 Pro with hardware MPEG optimization, the same conversion took 6:50 seconds, about a 45% improvement in speed. Sweet!
