Mixing HDV with HDCAM; Also: Telecine to HDV?

My project will include some HDCAM footage mixed with my own HDV material. Two questions:

1. Is there any facility that does telecine directly to HDV? My source material is Super16mm shot at 30fps. If not, I assume I should master to HDCAM.

2. If there is no direct-to-HDV telecine yet, how do I convert HDCAM to HDV? I'd like to edit a sample tape for my client. I know my HDCAM material may lose a little in this process, but this is only for an off-line edit.

Mike Curtis suggested some solutions for the Mac platform (thanks!) , but I'm working on a PC. I'll be getting the HD plug-in for Premiere Pro. Is there a way to do this with that set-up?
